Alternative Medicine’s Great Hopes For Today And Tomorrow

If you read the mainstream press for news on available medical therapies, you miss out on some exciting alternative techniques. Largely unreported are many of the remarkable alternative methods for improving your health.

Here are some medical innovations that are making invaluable contributions to progress in fighting chronic disease.

Antineoplastons And Dr. Burzynski

In 1967, Dr. Stanislaw R. Burzynski, who was originally from Poland, discovered naturally occurring peptides (amino acids) that repair the DNA of cancer genes to turn off cancer. Burzynski came to the United States in 1970 and further developed these peptide fractions at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston as an assistant professor. In 1977, Dr. Burzynski opened a clinic in Houston where he has been successfully using these peptides (which he calls antineoplastons) for patients in the final stages of cancer. Dr. Burzynski is the author of 175 scientific papers on antineoplastons and has treated patents from 38 different countries. Independent researchers have written about 250 papers concerning antineoplastons.

Since 1991, the Texas Medical Board in coordination with the National Cancer Institute (NCI) has been attempting to put Burzynski out of business with multiple frivolous lawsuits. His work is yet another story of how the NCI and the Food and Drug Administration can squash competing cancer therapies to protect the massive business of chemotherapy and radiation. Learn about this entire story and get information on his Texas clinic at www.burzynskimovie.com.

Insulin Potentiation Therapy (IPT)

Administering insulin via an infusion causes cancer cells to preferentially take up glucose. When anti-cancer medications (extremely low dose “chemotherapy”) are simultaneously infused, cancer cells get a much higher dose while normal cells may be spared much of the toxic side effects. A compound called DMSO, which has a high affinity for cancer cells, can bind to any fat-soluble medication to carry it into cancer cells.

IV Ozone therapies

This very intriguing intervention is still being suppressed in the United States despite its effectiveness. When ozone comes in contact with organic material, it breaks down into singlet oxygen and oxidizes or burns up waste products, pollution, microbes and weak (cancerous) cells. Normal body cells protect themselves from the oxidizing effects of singlet oxygen by naturally producing their own protective antioxidant coatings.

Many American cities and businesses, including Sea World, and most European cities purify their water by bubbling ozone through it. This effectively sanitizes the water, because it kills all the bacteria, viruses and harmful microscopic organisms. In Western Europe, more than 40 full-scale municipal ozone facilities are installed each year. France alone has more than 700 water treatment plants using ozone. Germany has more than 70 installations using ozone.

Ozone interacts with tissue and blood when mixed with pure oxygen at approximately at 1:20 ratio. In this way it does not disrupt blood constituents. Topical ozone is effectively used in high concentrations to disinfect or clean out wounds; low concentrations seem to promote healing and skin growth.

However, intravenous ozone therapy shows the most profound effectiveness on systemic diseases, including cancer. This therapy is certainly not something new. An estimated 7,000 physicians in Europe use medical ozone effectively, with no serious adverse effects reported. Reportedly, more than 5,000 German physicians use medical ozone routinely and have been using it as standard of care for more than 50 years. There are more than 6,000 scientific reports of its use in worldwide medical literature. Since 1976, however, our FDA has given its stamp of disapproval (via publication in the Federal Register), maintaining that ozone therapy employs “a toxic gas with no medical use.”

In my next report I’ll share some other interesting natural therapy protocols that don’t need a physician to administer them.

To you continued health,
