My husband and I use a tablespoon of coconut oil every day i n our food prep–it is an awesome ingredient–we also use medicinal mushrooms, D3 exclude sugar and wheat and gluten and use grassfed grass finished meat and pastured eggs and organic fruits and vegetables. also protein shakes. In addition–following the Linus Pauling-Mathias Rath protocol for proper collagen synthesis we take L lysine, ester C and Proline in a 5:5:1 ratio, and supplemental hyaluronic acid, and types I,II, and II collagen, as well as cooking chinese bone broth—which contains all 3 types collagen, hyaluronic acid, macro amd trace minerals, glucosamine and other nutrients–not to mention the nutritionally dnese root vegetables added which can be targeted for different benefits—ex. fennel is good for blood sugar balance, and dandilion and rutabagas are good for blood pressure balance etc. So your recommendations are crucial for health and especially recovery from an illness or surgery.
