The Herb That Kills Cancer

Two studies from the University of Colorado Cancer Center show that a particular herbal extract can kill cancerous skin cells mutated by exposure to ultraviolet light from the sun and protect against cancer and photoaging.
The extract is silibinin derived from milk thistle.
“When you have a cell affected by UV radiation, you either want to repair it or kill it so that it cannot go on to cause cancer. We show that silibinin does both,” says Rajesh Agarwal, Ph.D., co-program leader of Cancer Prevention and Control at the Cancer Center.
“It has been 20 years of work with this compound, silibinin,” Agarwal says. “We first noticed its effectiveness in treating both skin and solid cancers, and we now have a much more complete picture of the mechanisms that allow this compound to work.
“When you take human skin cells — keratinocytes — and treat them with silibinin, nothing happens. It’s not toxic. But when you damage these cells with UVA radiation, treatment with silibinin kills the cells,” Agarwal says. This beneficial process kills off and removes mutated cells that can cause skin cancer and photoaging.

So silibinin – great news but how do I use it. Take as a pill. Or find a cream, or what? I also have struggled with skin cancer & Pre-cancers for over 20 yrs. In my genes & too much sun. The Doctors are at a loss because I have so much of it. They put me on a chemo cream ($300.00) but I had a allergic reaction. Would appreciate any help u can send my way. Thanks!
It’s a supplement … milk thistle … already at your drugstore, vitamin store, etc. It has been used to help diabetes and heart problems.

there are so many natural plants and nutrients that can keep us well…Americans are unwell because our foods are so lacking in nutrients due to over processing and bad farming practice…go back to what your great grandparents did…eat organic greens and good old fashioned fats and meats…your doctor has been fibbed to…it’s good for you. The drug companies cannot get rich on natural cures…so they spread the nonsense that they are dangerous and not safe! Not true…yes some herbs are strong and should be used according to the herbal knowledge gathered and used through the centuries…and some are just like parsley…eat all you want. Consider a multi bullet blender for making sure you get plenty daily!

I agree with Michele, go organic. Never eat anything from a box or a can. We all have cancer cells in our body, they feed off of sugar. The less sugar you put in your body, the more cancer free you will be. If you already have cancer, cut out the sugar. There can still be a turn around. And believe it or not, pharmaceutical companies are out for you money. Eat healthy and lose the medications. They poison your body.
