Avoid These Two Kinds Of Foods To Fight Acne

Research into the causes of acne have zeroed in on two types of food that are most likely to blame. Minimize these in your meals and your acne may vanish.

Scientists in New York have found that dairy products and highly refined, high-glycemic foods (like bread, cookies, pasta, pretzels and potatoes) are connected to acne.

The researchers, from New York University and New York Medical College, conducted a literature review to evaluate evidence for the diet-acne connection.

They concluded that a high glycemic index/glycemic load diet and frequent dairy consumption are the leading factors in establishing the link between diet and acne. They also note that although research results from studies conducted over the past 10 years do not demonstrate that diet causes acne, it may influence or aggravate it.
