Peachy green tea cooler
- 6 green tea teabags
- 6 cups cold water
- 3 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
- Honey
- 1 lemon, juiced
- A couple of sprigs fresh mint or basil
- Bring 6 cups cold water to a boil.
- Place teabags and sliced peaches in a saucepan. Pour boiling water over the peaches and teabags. Steep for about 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a heat-safe pitcher and reserve the peaches in another container to place in the refrigerator. Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste into the tea.
- Allow tea to cool, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
- To serve: Fill tall glasses with ice, place a few chilled peach slices in each glass, pour chilled tea over the peaches and top with a sprig of mint or basil.
