Peachy green tea cooler
 
Ingredients
  • 6 green tea teabags
  • 6 cups cold water
  • 3 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced
  • Honey
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • A couple of sprigs fresh mint or basil
Instructions
  1. Bring 6 cups cold water to a boil.
  2. Place teabags and sliced peaches in a saucepan. Pour boiling water over the peaches and teabags. Steep for about 5 minutes.
  3. Strain the tea into a heat-safe pitcher and reserve the peaches in another container to place in the refrigerator. Stir in honey and lemon juice to taste into the tea.
  4. Allow tea to cool, then refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
  5. To serve: Fill tall glasses with ice, place a few chilled peach slices in each glass, pour chilled tea over the peaches and top with a sprig of mint or basil.
