Cherry Lime Rooibos Tea Cooler
- 3 cups of water
- 6 rooibos tea bags
- 1 fresh lime
- ½ cup loosely packed basil
- ¼ cup of tart cherry juice
- 2 tsp. honey
- Crushed ice
- Boil the water and remove from heat. When water is calm, gently pour it into a heat-resistant pitcher and add tea bags.
- Lightly crumple basil in your hand and add to tea, stir and let steep for one minute. Scoop out tea bags and basil and discard.
- Stir in two teaspoons of honey.
- Add tart cherry juice and squeeze the juice from lime into tea. Pour over crushed ice and garnish with fresh basil and or lime slices.
