In the kitchen with Kelley: Apple Slaw

In my experience, it seems people either really like or really don’t like slaw. I like it, and so do my children. And we especially like this recipe. My kids like Apple Slaw on barbecue sandwiches. I like it by itself.
Apple Slaw
Ingredients
2 cups red cabbage, shredded
1 cup green cabbage, shredded
2 apples, chopped
1 cup carrots, grated
3 green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Put all vegetables in a large bowl.
2. In a bowl, add remaining ingredients in the order listed and then whisk until mixed well.
3. Drizzle oil mixture over vegetables and toss until coated.
4. Serve chilled.
