3. Eat two meals a day instead of three.

This could be a bit of a challenge (I know it would be for me). Since research shows you’re supposed to eat most of your calories in the beginning of the day, cutting back to two meals a day would mean skipping dinner (no dinner?!). But the benefits may be worth it.

In this study, eating two meals a day was tied to a lower BMI. But FYI… skipping a meal at the end of the day is actually a type of intermittent fasting, which you may know, can provide a long list of health benefits. Intermittent fasting has been tied to a decreased risk of cancer, stroke and Alzheimer’s. It’s also been tied to slower aging and greater longevity.
