Research shows that forty percent of Americans don’t eat whole grains at all!

It’s not enough to avoid red meat and sugary drinks. You want to be eating at least six ounces of grains per day. Half of those should be whole grains: whole wheat bread or pasta, brown rice, or other grains like quinoa or even oatmeal.
