2. Belly-Fighting Green Breakfast Drink
This one’s got a long list of nutritious fruits and veggies and has enough fiber to fill you up in the morning and get you through to lunch time. It includes anti-inflammatory pineapple, magnesium-rich celery and alkaline lemons and limes to balance pH.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups spinach
- ½ cucumber
- 3 stalks celery
- ½ bunch parsley
- 3 carrots
- 2 apples, cored
- ¼ orange, peeled
- ¼ lime, peeled
- ¼ lemon, peeled
- 1 bunch fresh mint
- ¼ pineapple, peeled
DIRECTIONS:
Place the ingredients in a blender (you can leave the skin on the apples and cucumber) and puree, adding water or ice as needed.
