2. Alter your environment

The second part of becoming a morning lark is to alter your environment to make it conducive to sleep.

This includes removing sources of light, even those LED clocks, from your bedroom and keeping it cool and comfortable. It can also help to clean the clutter from your bedroom, especially TVs and computers, so that you think of your room as having one purpose only – sleep.

You can even harness the power of aromatherapy and use a diffuser to scent your room with lavender, vanilla or chamomile to help you drift off to sleep with a soft scent.
