How to break this deadly sleeping habit (slideshow)

3. Switch to soothing colors

And finally, consider painting your room a soothing color since it’s been proven that the color of your walls can actually help or hinder your sleep process. In fact, a study in Britain found that the colors blue, yellow, and green in that order were the most conducive to sleep. Of those surveyed, the people with blue walls slept on average 7 hours 52 minutes while those with yellow walls rang in at 7 hours 40 minutes and people whose bedroom was green at 7 hours 36 minutes.

Don’t let staying up late steal years from your life. Transform from a night owl to a morning lark using the tips above and reduce your risk of disease and early death.
