COVID-19 or spring allergies? How to tell the difference

COVID-19 or spring allergies?

Like the rest of us, I’ve been isolating at home and staying out of the way of the COVID-19 virus.

But spring is springing, the days are getting warmer, and I’m taking a lot of solo walks in my neighborhood. It feels so good to get outside, especially when the sun is out!

However, as someone who suffers from spring allergies, I’m nervously awaiting the signs: itchy eyes and throat, runny nose, sneezing… it wears me out.

Why am I nervous? Because I need to be able to tell whether I’m just allergic… or infected. So, I did some research into that.

The CDC and World Health Organization provide some good comparisons among symptoms of COVID-19, allergies, and colds.
