For me, one of the first sure signs that spring allergies have arrived at my doorstep is the itchy throat and eyes. These are typical allergy symptoms.

The COVID-19 virus sometimes causes a sore throat. Allergies make your throat itch.

However, I know that, after a few days of post-nasal drip irritating my throat, I’ve often thought that I had a sore throat when it was just irritated by the frequent throat-clearing and continual passage of mucus.
