Not too long ago, I wrote about the major load your liver carries in terms of keeping you healthy. Of all the organs in your body, your liver is perhaps the one that does the most varied set of jobs.

Without a fully functioning and healthy liver, you could take all the vitamins and supplements in the world, but they wouldn’t do any good. Not only does your liver store vitamins until they’re needed, but it breaks them down so your body can actually use them.

The bile produced by your liver disposes of the “leftovers” after your body uses those vitamins.
