Dr. Paul Talalay is the founding director of the Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Chemoprotection Center at Johns Hopkins University. In 1991, he completed a landmark study, one of the first to focus on preventing cancer through diet.

This study was also the first to identify sulforaphane as a nutrient that prevents cancer. It inhibits metastasis of cancers in the spleen, colon, prostate, stomach and breast.

Sulforaphane is found in broccoli, broccoli sprouts and other cruciferous vegetables. It prevents cancer by boosting Phase 2 enzymes that are responsible for neutralizing disease mechanisms in the body.
