2. Curcumin softens those hardened arteries

Research from the University of Colorado looked at the possibility that curcumin could actually slow or reverse the arterial stiffening that comes with age.

When curcumin was given to mice for four weeks, it appeared to reverse many of the chemical processes that contribute to hardening of the arteries, making arteries more flexible.

Even though the research was done with mice, these results still hold great promise for curcumin’s role in slowing the aging process.
