Experts keep promising that at some point, hopefully soon, the pandemic will transition to what’s known as the “endemic phase.” Think common cold or flu — viral infections that occur seasonally and affect fewer and fewer people. That means cases of COVID-19 would subside substantially, infections should be less severe for the majority of us and our hospitals and frontline workers could see some much-needed normalcy.

Till that time comes, it’s important to be on guard to help slow the spread and of course, avoid becoming infected yourself. Though the most severe infections are hopefully behind us, it’s still no walk in the park.

Luckily, there are small things you can do each and every day that will help you avoid the virus and stay healthy.
