#5 Get Plenty of Rest
While you’re allowing your digestive system to rest during the cleanse you also want to allow your body to rest. Make sure to get at least eight hours of sleep each night to fully rejuvenate.

Meditating can help you focus on healing your body, and less on your desires for food. A noisy mind with uncontrolled inner-chatter wastes energy, makes it difficult to focus and leaves one scattered. There is an old saying: “The mind is like a monkey that’s been stung by a bee.” In other words, it is always on the move, erratic, changing directions and opinions. It must be calmed, quieted, still.
